Happy 12th Birthday Spiral Essence Coven!
“Oh what a glorious day!” chimed Astellara the winged unicorn with praise to the bright sun.
“Yes!” agreed Shedar the Griffon, his bright gold wings folding over Astellara lovingly. They walked along together, enjoying the beautiful forest with its verdant trees. A small brook flowed nearby and they settled near its cool edge.
Suddenly, Shedar went alert. His ears pinned against his head as he spread his huge wings. He scanned the horizon with his sharp, eagle eyes. Huge golden pinions gleamed metallic in the light as they reflected sparkling iridescent hues of all shades.
“What is that?” asked Astellara said softly, getting close to his side. She looked up and Shedar chimed with joy, “Its fairies! And they are carrying something”
Astellara squealed in delight as they flitted around them at their approach. Several of the fairies hid among the trees, settling in the grass around their feet. Astellara giggled in joy as they spun around her. Soon, a few brightly dressed pixies came forward with a huge purple and gold cake. It was festooned with 12 bright red candles that flickered and shone in the light.
Happy Birthday to Spiral Essence Coven sang the fairies!

Here is a picture of Astellara (winged unicorn) and Shedar (golden griffon) who are enjoying the birthday cake! They are the animals from our coven logo. The Coven Logo as shown at the top of the webpage features two supporters. These sacred animals are the winged unicorn, a symbol of purity, and the golden griffin, a guardian creature. They are shown in the logo grasping a celtic knot triskellion and pentagrams.
The coven was founded on Dec 13, 2006 and the original members were Jenna Bunker, Stephanie Small, Jessica Acree and Nicholas Brusky. It has since opened to the public and serves the community. In March 2018 the money was obtained to get our Nonprofit Status.
