Outer Circle:
The outer circle is comprised of solitary witches, and other spiritual practitioners wishing to be associated with Spiral Essence Coven. The only requirements to be a member of the outer circle are to be respectful of each other, and always act in love. Members of the outer circle are invited to most coven events and all classes (which are always free). All you need to do in order to join the outer circle is join our Facebook group. Since the Facebook group is a secret group, and only visible to members, a direct link will not work.To be added to the Facebook group, send a friend request to coven secretary, Navara Ravenheart by clicking here:

Inner Circle:
The inner circle is the core of the coven. Membership is free, however, members of the inner circle are required to actively work on their craft & participate in as many events and classes as possible. In addition, members of the inner circle are required to help raise funds for operating expenses, and help with periodic coven events. Members who do not live within a reasonable distance from a Flight can help in many ways online, as well as in the spiritual realm.
There are many benefits to being an Inner Circle member. While the Outer Circle is comparable to the closest of family friends, the Inner Circle is considered spiritual family. members of the inner circle receive special attention from coven Triluna & Magisters, including birthday recognition, counseling, magick mentoring, special healing sessions, and first priority registration when space is limited at events and classes. Members living within the boundaries of a Flight receive free wedding officiations.

To be considered for membership you must fill out a membership form, and have at least one member of the inner circle who will stand for you. If you do not know any members of the inner circle, come to events, classes, and social media, and get to know us. Once you have found an inner circle advocate, and completed the membership request form, the following process will take place before you are approved:

(1) Your application will be posted for all inner circle members to view in the Inner Circle section of the website. Only your answers to relevant questions will be shared. Your address, phone number, and e-mail will NOT be shared with the inner circle until you have become a member, and only with your consent.

(2) A private inner circle meeting will be held where your inner circle advocate/representative will speak on your behalf.
​
(3) A vote will be held. Applicant must receive approval by majority vote by inner circle and unanimous vote by the coven founders.
​
(4) If the inner circle has voted in favor of your application, you will be granted provisionary inner circle status. At this time, you will gain access to the "Members Only" section of the website. Sign up for an account using the name you used on your membership application. You will be approved within 48 hours and have full access to the website.

(5) Complete the introductory membership training.

(6) Attend initiation ceremony. YAY! You're a full member of The Inner Circle of Spiral Essence Coven!

There are three degrees within The Inner Circle:
​
First Degree : Neophyte - Has completed all the introductory training, and attended their dedication ceremony. Brand new member of the coven. A new witch with little or no experience in the craft will begin studying First Degree training materials. An advanced witch can simply take the quizzes & quickly move into Second Degree status.

Second Degree: Adherent - Completed degree one training, and attended degree two dedication ceremony. At this point you are considered a full practitioner, and may lead rituals and ceremonies, as well as teach classes. Just as with degree one, an advanced witch can simply take the quizzes & quickly move into Third Degree status.

Third Degree: Master - Has completed all degree two training, and attended degree three dedication ceremony. At this point, you are eligible to take Magister training, to become a coven Priest or Priestess, if you desire the path of clergy.
